Lynda Emard

Psychiatry APRN

I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have worked as a Psychiatric RN for over twenty years, with experience in treating both adolescents and adults before becoming a Nurse Practitioner in 2019. I have been working at Central Connecticut Behavioral Health since March 2021. We treat patients age 14 and over with different psychiatric needs including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, personality disorders, and post traumatic stress disorder. We develop a flexible treatment plan and provide medication management based on standard of care, and considering patient preferences in combination with our expertise and evidence-based practice as well as psychotherapy.

Juleen Mason

APRN Psychiatry

Hello, my name is Juleen L Mason, and I recently joined Central Connecticut Behavioral Health Practice.

I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. I am passionate about providing holistic care to individuals who are facing mental health challenges.

In my practice, I believe in taking a personalized approach to treatment, recognizing that each person is unique and deserves individualized care. I am committed to understanding the specific needs and circumstances of each patient in order to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their unique situation.

I offer a range of services including psychiatric diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy. My areas of expertise include working with children, adolescents, and adults who are struggling with conditions such as ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, and substance use disorder.

My goal is to provide compassionate and effective care that supports my patients on their journey towards mental health and well-being. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes in their lives.

Hi, I'm Linda and I am excited to be joining CCBH as a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have many years of nursing experience primarily in Women’s Health. My professional journey is defined by a commitment to providing personalized, compassionate psychiatric care for individuals. Recognizing the critical importance of perinatal mental health, I have pursued specialized training and certification (PMH-C) to better support individuals and families navigating the complexities of pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.

My approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, centered on meeting each individual's unique needs and collaborating on a treatment plan focused on improved mental well-being. Whether addressing adult psychiatric disorders or providing guidance through the perinatal journey, I believe in the importance of delivering high-quality, evidence-based care with professionalism and compassion. Jewel Walters-Davis

I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse with over a decade of experience providing nursing care to clients across the lifespan among many practice settings. I am joining Central Connecticut Behavioral Health as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I am experienced in treating clients from adolescence age 14 to older adulthood with various mental health diagnoses including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress and obsessive-compulsive disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and ADHD. I utilize a holistic, client-centered approach to conduct psychiatric evaluations and emphasize client teaching to facilitate collaboration in medication management. I encourage clients to participate in therapy in addition to medication to promote best outcomes.
