Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ
Central Connecticut Behavioral Health health accepts most insurance plans including Medicaid and Medicare. We encourage our patients to call the office for detailed information as needed.
We accept cash, checks, and credit cards.
All cancellations must be communicated before 24 hours of your scheduled appointment. Any late cancellations or no shows will incur an out-of-pocket fee of $75.
Initial evaluations typically take about 60 minutes, where we will discuss and review history and concerns. We will meet the patient individually and with the family to further understand the biological, social, and psychological factors contributing to the patient’s current situation. After the initial evaluation, we will make recommendations for the patient’s treatment plan. Follow up appointments typically run 30 minutes to an hour long.
Our clinic specializes in patients aged 14 and over.
In case of an emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. For urgent concerns please contact us during our normal business hours at 860-996-1569.
We accept most insurances. Client will be responsible for co-pays and deductibles.
Out of pocket or self pay fee
- $200 for Initial
- $120 for Follow up
- $50 for 1/2 hour Psychotherapy
- $75 for 45 min Psychotherapy
We do not provide this service.
We discharge all patients who miss 3 scheduled appointments without at least 24 hours notice within a 12 month period.
Patients are encouraged to contact their pharmacies before getting in touch with Central Connecticut Behavioral Health regarding their refills. Most medication refill requests are addressed within 24 hours.
